| Casatiello weights from 3 to 4 lbs and has a diameter of about 8.5 inches. It is a special bread tipycal of Campania region prepared special during the Easter period.
The dough is made of flour and lard and it is filled with sopressata, bacon, grated pecorino romano genuino (cheese) and black pepper. Its flavour is truly unique, it is worth tasting it! |
