Ecotype of dwarf Borlotto with a round ovoid, not very big seed, with a creamy white-coloured ground and wine coloured mottles. This ecotype is the most famous and may be the ancienter one: it is really appreciated for its nearly absent after cooking peel. It redeems itself from its name "Ciuoto" (the Italian "cretino" stupid) for its cooking, where it becomes a food "regina" queen for the several possible utilizations and for the excellent qualities off flavour and cooking. It is, in fact, a real superior Borlotto, usable in many tasty recipes.
